The Keystone CFS/K-130 WIL 1650mm lintel is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel tailored for builders and contractors working with wide inner leaf blockwork. Designed to support openings where cavity widths range between 130mm and 145mm, this lintel provides robust and dependable load-bearing performance for serious structural projects. Please note that proper installation includes propping the lintel and ensuring blockwork fits tightly against the inner face.

Application

This lintel is ideal for cavity walls with wide inner leaf blockwork between 125mm and 150mm thick. It supports lintelled openings in walls such as doorways or large window frames where heavy structural loads need to be safely transferred. The lintel flange should not be overhung by the inner leaf blockwork by more than 25mm to maintain structural integrity. Builders are advised to prop the lintel temporarily during construction to ensure alignment and speed up the build process. Mortar bedding atop the blockwork before laying floor units will help distribute loads evenly.
