Please note that outer leaf blocks should not extend beyond 25mm over the lintel flange to maintain proper load transfer.

Application

This lintel is ideal for use in cavity wall construction where the outer leaf blockwork measures between 125 and 150mm thick. It provides strong support for openings such as doors and windows, ensuring structural integrity under heavy loads. To optimise build speed and safety, we recommend propping the lintel during installation. Ensure the blockwork is tightly built against the lintel’s inner face, and apply a mortar bed on top of the blocks before laying floor units to evenly distribute loads across the lintel.
