Please note, lintels must be bedded on mortar with a minimum end bearing of 150mm on each side.

Application

This box lintel is ideal for supporting internal openings in solid masonry walls ranging from 100mm to 215mm thick. The insulated version (INS) provides extra thermal resistance, helping meet building regulations and improve energy efficiency. Suitable for standard load-bearing applications, it carries the full weight of wet masonry immediately after installation, speeding up construction times. For best results, lintels should be propped during installation to maintain structural integrity.
