Details

The Catnic CG50/100 1200mm lintel is a specialist insulated cavity lintel designed for professional builders and contractors focused on thermal efficiency and durability. This lintel incorporates a built-in damp proof course and insulation to minimise cold bridging, making it ideal for internal insulation setups in cavity wall construction. Application

This lintel is used primarily in cavity wall construction where internal insulation is specified to enhance thermal performance. It supports brick and blockwork above openings such as windows and doors while reducing thermal bridging through its built-in insulation layer. The integrated DPC helps prevent moisture transfer across the cavity, and the plaster key ensures a secure finish for internal plasterwork. Suitable for use with inner leaf thicknesses between 100 and 115mm, cavity widths of 50 to 65mm, and outer leaves from 100 to 105mm.
