The Siniat GTEC Self Tapping Screws 3.50x38mm are a specialist fixings solution for contractors and developers working with plasterboard on thick gauge metal stud framing. Please note these screws are designed for use with GTEC boards and metal studs and must be installed following recommended guidelines.

Application

These screws are engineered to securely attach a wide range of GTEC plasterboards to heavy-duty metal studwork thicker than 0.7mm. Tradespeople benefit from the fine thread which improves grip and reduces stripping during installation. Ideal for commercial and residential drywall projects, these fixings ensure reliable load-bearing and minimise the risk of loose panels over time. Correct placement is essential: screws should be positioned at least 10mm from bonded edges, 13mm from cut edges, and at least 3mm from the metal stud edge, with a minimum 10mm penetration into the stud for optimal holding power.
