Application

This architrave bead is ideal for use on internal door frames and architraves where plaster edges are vulnerable to damage. The expanded metal wing integrates with plaster to reduce cracking and chipping, ensuring a clean, straight edge that maintains its appearance throughout the build. It is commonly fixed at intervals not exceeding 600mm and can be wire tied onto metal lathing or plasterboard backgrounds. Care should be taken during installation to avoid damage, and abrasives must not be used for cleaning the beads.
