The Siniat GTEC E Stud ES90/B is a specialist steel framing section engineered for use in shaftwall systems, particularly on multi-storey developments. It is designed to provide robust support at door openings, intersections and end wall studs, making it an essential component for contractors focused on fire safety and efficient installation. Please note, these steel sections are supplied individually and are intended to be used as part of the GTEC Shaftwall system.

Application

This stud is typically installed at 300mm centres within GTEC Shaftwall assemblies to prevent fire spread through continuous shafts and voids. It allows for one-sided plasterboard installation, significantly reducing the need for scaffolding and streamlining site work. The E Stud works in combination with GTEC CH Studs and GTEC J or U tracks to complete a fully compliant shaftwall system, offering pressure resistance against air movement in deep shafts.
