The Keystone XHD/K-70 WIL 1050mm lintel is a specialist extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel designed for use in wide inner leaf blockwork applications. Made for tradespeople and site managers requiring dependable structural support, this lintel is ideal for openings in cavity walls with a 70-85mm cavity and 125-150mm thick inner leaf. Please note that lintels are manufactured in 150mm length increments.

Application

This lintel is engineered to carry heavy loads over window and door openings in cavity wall constructions. It is particularly suited to projects where the inner leaf is wider than standard, such as commercial or large-scale residential builds using 125-150mm blockwork. Builders will appreciate the lintel’s capacity to support significant weight, helping to maintain structural integrity and meet rigorous building standards. For best results, blockwork should be built tight to the lintel’s inner face, with a mortar bed placed on top before laying floor units to ensure even load distribution.
