GTEC E Stud Steel sections for intersections door openings and end studs

Steel sections used for starter studs, intersections, door openings and end studs as part of the GTEC Shaftwall Systems.

Applications:

Used as an integral part of GTEC Shaftwall systems in multi-storey buildings, preventing continuous routes for the spread of fire. Typically installed at 300mm centres, this stud is used in combination with GTEC CH Stud and associated GTEC J and/or U Tracks. Together it allows for full installation of a system from one side of the shaft, completely eliminating the need for scaffolding.

Benefits:

• When built with the GTEC Shaftwall system, pressure changes likely found in deep shafts and voids are resisted
• Used as a starter stud, the E Stud allows for one sided board installation
• Manufactrured to BS EN 14195
• Reaction to fire A1
