Details

Celotex PL4040 is a premium insulated plasterboard designed for builders, contractors, and site managers seeking an efficient and reliable internal wall insulation solution. Combining a 40mm high-performance PIR insulation with a 12.5mm tapered edge plasterboard, this board delivers excellent thermal performance while streamlining installation by integrating insulation and dry lining in a single product. Please note that installation requires proper moisture assessment, especially on existing solid walls.

Application

This insulated plasterboard is ideal for new build and refurbishment projects where improving internal wall thermal performance is essential. It can be mechanically fixed or adhered using dot-and-dab plaster to timber frame studs, joists, rafters, or existing solid and cavity walls. Its slim profile also makes it suitable for lining door and window reveals to maintain thermal continuity throughout the building envelope. The integrated aluminium foil facing acts as a vapour control layer, helping to reduce condensation risks when installed correctly.
