The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications where superior load-bearing capacity is essential. Perfect for builders, contractors, and site managers working on cavity walls between 130-145mm, this lintel combines robust construction with corrosion-resistant galvanising to ensure longevity on site. Please note that a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to maintain performance.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed to support heavy loads above openings in cavity wall constructions, such as doors and large windows. It is suitable for use in both residential and commercial projects requiring enhanced structural integrity. The lintel’s design accommodates inner leaf thicknesses of 110-115mm and requires proper lateral restraint and minimum 200mm end bearing to achieve its rated load capacity. Optional expanded metal mesh can be added to the base plate for improved plaster keying if required.
