The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications where heavy load-bearing capacity is essential. Ideal for builders and contractors working on cavity wall constructions with inner leaf thickness between 110-115mm and cavity widths of 130-145mm, this lintel offers robust and reliable performance. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation to ensure proper damp-proofing.

Application

This lintel is specifically designed to support extreme loads above openings in cavity walls, commonly used in commercial and heavy-duty residential projects. It is suitable for situations requiring strong structural support, such as over large window openings, doors, or other load-bearing points where standard lintels are insufficient. The lintel must be laterally restrained on site and installed with a minimum of 200mm bearing at each end to achieve its full load capacity.
