Details

The Catnic CXL330 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 3700mm length is engineered for demanding structural projects requiring high load capacity and durability. It’s tailored for builders and contractors working with cavity walls of 130-145mm and inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed on site as this is not included with the lintel.

Application

This lintel is purpose-built for heavy-duty cavity wall installations where extreme loading is expected. It is commonly used in commercial developments, multi-storey buildings, and substantial residential projects where structural integrity is critical. The lintel is designed to be laterally restrained with 200mm bearing at each end, supporting inner to outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1. It can also be supplied with optional expanded metal mesh fixed to the base plate for enhanced masonry support.
