Details

The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load cavity wall lintel is designed for demanding structural applications where heavy-duty support is essential. Perfectly suited for builders, contractors, and site managers working with 90-105mm cavity walls and 110-115mm inner leaves, this lintel offers reliable performance and long-term corrosion resistance thanks to its galvanised steel construction. Please note, a separate flexible DPC is required during installation and is not included.

Application

This lintel is commonly used to span large openings in cavity walls subject to extreme loading conditions, such as commercial developments or substantial residential projects. It is ideal for supporting brickwork or blockwork above windows, doors, and other structural apertures where high load capacities are needed. To ensure full performance, the lintel must be laterally restrained and rest on minimum 200mm end bearings.
