The Catnic CXL290 is a specialist extreme load cavity wall lintel designed for builders, contractors, and developers working on demanding structural projects. With a length of 3300mm, it suits cavity walls between 90-105mm and inner leaf thicknesses of 110-115mm. This lintel is a reliable choice where high load-bearing capacity and durability are essential. Please note a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction.

Application

Engineered for heavy structural loads, the CXL290 lintel is ideal for supporting brick, block, or stonework over openings such as windows and doors in cavity wall construction. It is commonly used in residential and commercial developments where enhanced load capacity is required. The lintel must be laterally restrained and have end bearing supports of at least 200mm to achieve specified load ratings, making it suitable for serious building projects.
