Details

The Keystone XHD/K-70 WOL 1350mm is an extra heavy duty cavity wall lintel, purpose-built for builders, site managers, and contractors handling demanding structural openings. It’s engineered to support wide outer leaf blockwork in cavity walls where strength and reliability are critical. Please note, lintels are manufactured in 150mm increments and may be propped to assist faster build times.

Application

This lintel is specifically used in cavity wall constructions with an outer leaf width between 125mm and 150mm, and a cavity ranging from 70mm to 85mm. It provides robust support over openings such as windows and doors on projects requiring extra heavy duty load capacity. Proper installation involves building blockwork tightly against the lintel’s inner face and applying a mortar bed on top of the blockwork before installing floor units to ensure even load distribution.
