The Catnic CXL290 is a specialist extreme load cavity wall lintel engineered for builders and contractors working on substantial structural projects. Its robust design supports cavity widths of 90-105mm with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, making it a reliable choice where high load capacity and durability are paramount. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction.

Application

This lintel is typically specified for use in heavy-duty cavity wall constructions where significant load-bearing capacity is required. It is ideal for commercial and residential developments needing strong lintel support over openings such as windows and doors within cavity walls. The lintel must be laterally restrained and installed with a minimum of 200mm bearing at each end to achieve specified load ratings. It can accommodate inner to outer load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1, ensuring structural integrity under demanding conditions.
