Details

The Keystone HD/K-50 WIL is a heavy duty cavity wall lintel specially designed for builders and site managers working on robust cavity wall construction. Suitable for cavities ranging from 50mm to 65mm and inner leaf blockwork widths of 125mm to 150mm, this lintel provides dependable support over openings where structural integrity is critical. Please note, inner leaf blockwork must not overhang the lintel flange by more than 25mm to maintain proper load bearing.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting wide inner leaf cavity walls in residential and commercial projects where heavy duty load capacity is required. It is commonly used over window and door openings in blockwork walls with cavities between 50mm and 65mm. To ensure construction efficiency and safety, it is recommended to prop lintels during installation and to bed floor units on a mortar layer above the blockwork for even load distribution.
