The Catnic CXL290 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 2750mm is engineered specifically for builders and contractors managing heavy structural loads in cavity wall construction. Its robust design and galvanised finish ensure dependable performance on demanding projects where strength and reliability are paramount. Please note, a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be fitted during installation.

Application

This lintel is ideally suited for cavity walls with a 90-105mm cavity and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. It is designed to carry extreme loads, making it a reliable choice for structural openings in residential and commercial builds where heavy brickwork or blockwork is involved. It must be laterally restrained and installed with a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve specified load ratings, ensuring long-term stability on site.
