The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 3950mm is engineered specifically for demanding structural applications. Perfect for builders and contractors working on cavity walls with 70-85mm cavities and 110-115mm inner leaf thickness, this lintel combines robust design with corrosion-resistant galvanised steel to ensure lasting reliability on site. Please note, a separate flexible DPC must be fitted during installation to maintain building integrity.

Application

This lintel is tailored for heavy-duty cavity wall construction where extreme load-bearing capacity is essential. It supports large openings such as windows and doors in both residential and commercial projects. Its structural steel and universal beam design provide the strength needed for inner to outer leaf load ratios between 5:1 and 19:1, assuming proper lateral restraint and minimum 200mm end bearing supports.
