The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel is engineered for demanding structural applications where high load-bearing capacity is essential. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on cavity walls with widths between 70 and 85mm, this lintel combines robust steel construction with a corrosion-resistant galvanised finish to ensure long-term reliability on site. Please note that a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction.

Application

This lintel is designed to carry extreme loads over cavity wall openings, commonly used in commercial and residential developments where structural integrity is critical. It is suitable for cavity walls with an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm, offering dependable support for brickwork or blockwork above doorways, windows, and other openings. The lintel requires lateral restraint and a minimum 200mm bearing at each end to achieve its specified load capacity.
