The Catnic CXL265 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 2250mm is engineered for demanding structural applications where heavy load-bearing capacity is essential. Crafted from high-grade galvanised steel, it suits builders, contractors, and site managers working on cavity walls with a 70-85mm gap and an inner leaf thickness of 110-115mm. Please note, a separate flexible damp-proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to ensure optimal performance.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting openings in cavity walls subject to extreme loading conditions, such as large window or door spans in residential or commercial builds. It requires lateral restraint and at least 200mm end bearing to safely carry heavy structural loads. Typical projects include multi-storey developments, extensions, and renovation work where reliability and structural integrity are priorities.
