Manufactured from Grade S275 structural steel with a post galvanised finish for long-lasting corrosion resistance.
Supports heavy loads when correctly installed with 200mm end bearings and lateral restraint, meeting strict load ratio requirements.
Separate flexible DPC must be fitted on site to ensure moisture protection during construction.

The Catnic CXL240 Extreme Load Cavity Wall Lintel at 4800mm is designed specifically for builders and contractors working on projects requiring superior load-bearing capacity. This lintel is an excellent choice for cavity walls with 50-65mm cavities and 110-115mm inner leafs, providing reliable structural support where heavy loads are involved. Please note a separate flexible damp proof course (DPC) must be installed during construction to protect against moisture ingress.

Application

Ideal for use in demanding building projects such as commercial developments, multi-storey residential blocks, and heavy masonry walls. The lintel is designed to carry extreme loads safely when installed with the correct lateral restraints and minimum 200mm end bearing supports. It is suitable for use where structural integrity and durability are critical, including openings above doors and windows in cavity wall constructions.
