The Catnic Extra Heavy Duty Cavity Wall Lintel CX50/100 at 1350mm is engineered for builders and contractors requiring reliable, structural support in cavity wall applications. Its robust design and corrosion resistance make it a dependable choice for heavy-duty projects where thermal efficiency and durability matter. Please note the lintel is supplied without bricks or masonry.

Application

This lintel is ideal for supporting masonry above openings in cavity walls, especially where inner leaf thickness ranges from 125mm to 140mm and outer leaf from 100mm to 105mm with a cavity width of 50mm to 65mm. Its built-in damp proof course (DPC) helps prevent moisture ingress, while the plaster key ensures a strong finish for plaster or render applications. Suitable for new builds and structural refurbishment where enhanced load-bearing capacity is required.
