The Catnic CN81B external solid wall lintel at 2550mm length is engineered specifically for trade professionals working with 200mm to 215mm solid external walls. Its galvanised steel construction combined with a powder-coated finish and duplex corrosion protection ensures dependable strength and long-term resistance to harsh weather conditions. Application

This lintel is designed to support brickwork or blockwork over openings such as doors and windows in solid wall construction. It’s ideal for external solid masonry walls where durability and weather resistance are critical. The integral plaster key with staggered slots improves plaster adhesion, while the ribbed underside enhances insulation fit. For solid walls thicker than 250mm, consider appropriate open back lintels; contact Catnic Technical Services for guidance. Additionally, CN81 lintels are suitable for use as heavy-duty wall eaves lintels in cavity walls ranging from 70mm to 100mm.
