The Catnic CN71A external solid wall lintel is engineered for builders and contractors working with 200mm and 215mm thick external solid walls. Its galvanised steel construction and duplex corrosion protection system deliver dependable performance and longevity on exposed masonry openings. This 900mm lintel is an ideal choice for supporting structural loads in solid wall builds, assuring quality and reliability on site. Please note: standard lengths are supplied in 150mm increments to suit your specific requirements.

Application

This lintel is designed for external solid wall construction, typically used to span openings such as windows and doors in 200mm to 215mm thick masonry walls. It supports the load above openings while offering corrosion resistance critical for external exposure. For walls thicker than 250mm, an appropriate Open Back Lintel should be specified; Catnic Technical Services can provide guidance on this. The CN71A lintel can also serve as a heavy-duty wall eaves lintel for cavity walls between 70mm and 100mm.
