The Catnic Arch Centre is a specialist PVC-u arch unit engineered to support brick arch construction over openings in external cavity walls, including traditional masonry and timber frame builds. Its robust design ensures permanent centring for segmental arches, while built-in weep vents manage moisture effectively. Please note the product must be handled carefully and installed as specified to maintain performance.

Application

This arch centre is ideal for builders and contractors constructing segmental brick arches over structural openings up to approximately 3125mm wide. It suits external cavity wall systems where a reliable, weather-resistant centring solution is required. The integrated weep vents allow for efficient drainage of wind-driven rain that penetrates the outer leaf, helping to maintain cavity integrity and prevent moisture buildup.

Important: Inspect the arch centre for damage before use, remove protective wrapping prior to installation, and ensure it is the correct size for your lintel and opening. The front drip section should be trimmed to allow a neat mortar joint and improved appearance. Each arch centre is designed to cover openings with a tolerance of ±25mm. Lengths between 425mm and 3175mm are available in 50mm increments for rises of 75mm or 150mm.
