Thistle Bonding Coat 60 is a specialist fast-setting plaster designed for builders, bricklayers, and site managers who need a reliable, quick repair solution for walls. Its 60-minute set time means you can complete patching and repairs efficiently without compromising on finish quality. Supplied in a 10kg re-sealable tub, this product is especially suited to smaller repair jobs, such as electrical and pipework chases, minimising waste and improving site handling.

Application

This bonding coat plaster is ideal for rapid patching and repair of existing walls, particularly on medium to lower suction backgrounds. It reduces the risk of cracking and shrinkage often associated with slower-setting plasters. Tradespeople will appreciate the shorter set time, which allows finishing work to proceed faster compared to standard bonding coat plasters. For extremely high suction backgrounds, suction control measures like Thistle Bond-it or PVA are recommended to ensure optimal adhesion.
