Details

Thistle Bond-it is a specialist plaster bonding agent designed for builders and contractors working with smooth or low suction surfaces such as concrete. It creates a dependable chemical and mechanical key, ensuring new plaster adheres securely for a durable finish. The product is supplied in ready-to-use 10 litre tubs and is green in colour to clearly show coverage on site.

Application

Use Thistle Bond-it to prepare smooth backgrounds or surfaces with low porosity before plastering. It is particularly effective on concrete or previously treated walls where a mechanical key is needed to prevent plaster delamination. Simply apply one coat with a brush or roller and allow to dry before plastering. This product is also recommended for use alongside Thistle BondingCoat plaster for optimal results.
