The QIC YAS8 Ceiling Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for trade professionals working on suspended mineral fibre ceiling systems and adjoining plasterboard walls. Finished in white RAL 9010, this 3000mm length trim offers a reliable and visually clean junction detail, helping you achieve a polished finish on site. Please note that all items are supplied in the standard white finish; alternative colours or bespoke curving can be arranged upon request.

Application

Ideal for use where tegular mineral fibre ceilings meet plasterboard surfaces, the YAS8 trim provides a crisp, defined edge that enhances overall ceiling aesthetics. It is particularly suited to dry lining and partitioning projects requiring professional junction details without compromising installation speed. The trim should be fixed onto a suitable supporting framework—metal studs, timber, or other structural mediums—ensuring spacing does not exceed 600mm between vertical studs for optimal support. This trim is not intended to contribute to structural strength but to improve the finish of suspended ceiling installations.
