Details

The QIC YAS10 Ceiling Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for builders and contractors working on suspended mineral fibre ceilings and dry lining projects. Supplied in a standard 3000mm length and finished in RAL 9010 white, this trim delivers clean, sharp junctions between ceiling tiles and adjacent plasterboard, ensuring a neat and reliable finish on site. Please note, trims are supplied as individual lengths and are not structural components.

Application

Ideal for use in conventional drywall, partition, or suspended ceiling systems, the YAS10 trim creates a defined edge between tegular mineral fibre tiles and plasterboard surfaces. It is compatible with metal stud or timber framework, provided structural spacing and support requirements are met. This trim enhances the visual appeal of ceilings while accommodating multiple layers of plasterboard for added rigidity. It must always be fixed to a backing layer of plasterboard, never directly onto framing, to maintain system integrity.
