Details

The QIC YA15 Ceiling Trim in RAL 9010 white is a specialist aluminium profile designed for professional builders and contractors working on suspended ceiling and dry lining projects. At 3000mm long, this trim provides a neat, shadowgap finish where mineral fibre, GRG, or metal ceiling modules meet plasterboard areas. Please note, the trim is supplied in white as standard; alternative finishes can be requested with pricing on application.

Application

This ceiling trim is ideal for creating clean, crisp junction details in commercial and residential suspended ceiling systems. It is compatible with mineral fibre, GRG, or full module metal ceilings and adjacent plasterboard surfaces. The horizontal web of the YA15 can be factory slotted to form air vents if needed. For curved applications, composite curved trims matching the YA profile are available on special order. This trim is not intended to add structural strength but to enhance the aesthetic finish of dry lining installations.

The trim comes pre-punched with diagonal fixing slots and holes in the plastering fin to facilitate secure fixing with drywall screws. For complex joints, wedgelock cleats for straight runs, corners, and abutments are available separately. Please ensure trims are supported by structural framing and always backed by plasterboard layers to maintain system integrity. Non-standard lengths, curved profiles, and alternative finishes can be supplied on request.
