The QIC XT15 Ceiling Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for trade professionals working with metal ceiling systems and plasterboard. Ideal for contractors and site managers seeking a neat, reliable shadow gap detail, the trim comes finished in white RAL 9010 and in 3000mm lengths. Please note, trims are supplied in white as standard; alternative finishes can be arranged on request.

Application

This trim is engineered to form a shadow gap junction between spring tee metal ceiling tiles and adjacent plasterboard areas, enhancing the visual definition of ceiling lines. The horizontal web of the trim can be factory slotted to allow air ventilation if required, providing added flexibility for ventilation needs. It is typically installed within dry lining systems using metal stud or timber frameworks, supporting single or multiple layers of plasterboard for increased rigidity.
