Details

The QIC X25 Ceiling Trim in white RAL 9010 is a specialist aluminium profile designed for trade professionals requiring a precise shadowgap edge detail around plasterboard ceilings. Supplied in 3000mm lengths, this trim combines durability with a neat finish, making it an excellent choice for contractors and site managers focused on quality dry lining installations. Please note, all trims are supplied in white as standard; alternative finishes can be requested.

Application

Specifically developed for use with conventional dry wall and ceiling systems, the QIC X25 trim is perfect for creating clean shadowgap effects at the perimeter and junctions of plasterboard ceilings. It is compatible with single or multiple plasterboard layers fixed to metal stud, timber, or other structural frameworks. The horizontal web of the trim can be slotted to allow airflow where ventilation is needed. Curved versions of this trim are available for more complex ceiling designs, providing flexibility on site.

Type

Each trim is pre-punched with diagonal fixing slots and holes in the plastering fin, enabling secure attachment using drywall screws. For bespoke projects, non-standard lengths, factory curving, and alternative finishes are available by special order. This trim is intended to enhance aesthetics and should always be supported by appropriate structural framing; it is not designed to provide structural strength itself.
