The QIC X15 Ceiling Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for builders and contractors working on dry lining and ceiling installations. Finished in white RAL 9010, this 3000mm trim provides a precise shadowgap edge detail to plasterboard ceilings, helping you achieve a sleek, modern look on site. Please note, trims are supplied in the standard white finish unless an alternative is requested.

Application

This trim is typically used to create clean perimeter edges and abutments on plasterboard ceilings, delivering a distinctive shadowgap effect. It is compatible with single or multiple layers of plasterboard and can be installed on metal stud, timber, or other suitable frameworks, provided structural spacing guidelines are followed. The horizontal web can be factory slotted to allow airflow if ventilation is required. Curved trims mimicking the X15 profile are also available for more complex ceiling designs.

Type
