The QIC US01 Ceiling Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for professionals working with suspended ceiling systems. Finished in a clean white RAL 9010 powder coat, it offers a reliable perimeter upstand solution for both straight and curved ceiling edges, making it ideal for contractors, site managers, and installers looking for quality and precision on complex ceiling projects. Please note, accessories like cleats and corner pieces are sold separately.

Application

This trim is engineered to form the perimeter upstand around suspended ceiling tiles, including floating island configurations beneath the main ceiling plane. It accommodates a variety of infill materials such as metal tiles, mineral fibre, plasterboard, and rigidised mineral wool. The profile can be curved on site or factory-formed to fit concave or convex radius layouts, offering flexibility for bespoke ceiling designs.

Type

Ceiling perimeter trim for suspended ceiling systems

The trim is designed to support the weight of the infill tiles but is not intended for additional load-bearing, such as lighting or HVAC fixtures, which must be independently supported. For improved finish and acoustic performance, a bead of silicone mastic can be applied between the trim and the wall. Always install trims backed by wall boarding; do not fix directly to structural framing.
