QIC UA01 Ceiling Trim in RAL 9010 White, 3000mm (1181mm) length for suspended ceiling applications.
Designed for use with mineral fibre, plasterboard, GRG, or metal suspended ceiling tiles requiring vertical upstand detail.
Manufactured from architectural grade aluminium alloy (BS 1474) with a white polyester powder coat finish (20% gloss).
Compatible with wedgelock cleats and corner pieces for neat joints and abutments (sold separately).
Trim supports ceiling tile loads but not additional imposed loads; suitable for professional contractors and site managers.

The QIC UA01 Ceiling Trim in RAL 9010 white is a specialist aluminium profile designed for suspended ceiling systems where a clean, vertical upstand is needed. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working with plasterboard, mineral fibre, or metal ceiling tiles, it combines durability with a professional finish. Please note, trims are supplied in 3000mm lengths and images are for illustration purposes only.

Application

This ceiling trim is specifically engineered to provide a neat perimeter or upstand detail in suspended ceiling installations using mineral fibre, GRG, plasterboard, or full module metal tiles. It ensures structural integrity and a clean aesthetic finish on ceilings in commercial or residential builds. While it supports the weight of ceiling tiles, any additional loads such as lighting or HVAC fixtures require separate independent support. To enhance aesthetics and sound insulation, a bead of silicone mastic can be applied between the trim and wall. Always install trims backed by wall boarding rather than fixing directly to the building’s structural frame.
