QIC SC04 Ceiling Trim RAL 9010 (White) 3000mm

The QIC SC04 Ceiling Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for trade professionals working with suspended ceiling systems. Finished in white polyester powder coating to RAL 9010, this 3000mm length trim provides a neat shadowline perimeter detail where cut metal ceiling tiles meet walls or partitions. It’s a reliable choice for contractors and site managers aiming for a clean finish on commercial or residential ceiling projects. Please note the trim is supplied in white as standard; alternative finishes and custom curving can be arranged by special order.

Application

This trim is intended for use with a variety of ceiling tile materials including metal, mineral fibre, glass reinforced gypsum (GRG), plasterboard, and rigidised mineral wool tiles. It forms a precise shadowgap edge that accommodates hold down wedges and clips, ensuring tiles are securely fixed. The horizontal web of the trim can be slotted during manufacture to provide air venting if required. It is especially suited for creating professional perimeter details in suspended ceiling installations, and can be formed into column rings or curved sections for more complex designs.

For best results, perimeter trims should be fixed backed onto a layer of wall boarding and never directly to structural framing. Additional loads such as lighting or air conditioning must be independently supported. Use wedgelock cleats for neat joints and corners. A bead of silicone mastic can be applied between the trim and wall for improved aesthetics and sound insulation.
