The QIC SC01 Ceiling Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for contractors and site managers working with suspended metal tile ceilings. Its crisp shadowline detail enhances ceiling aesthetics while providing reliable support for cut ceiling tiles. Supplied in 3000mm lengths and finished in a clean white RAL 9010 polyester powder coat, this trim offers a professional finish on serious projects. If you require a different colour or finish, please contact us for options.

Application

This trim is used at the perimeter where cut metal ceiling tiles meet walls, partitions, or upstands, delivering a neat shadowgap effect. It features a channel to accept standard hold down wedges and clips, ensuring tiles stay firmly in place. The horizontal web can be slotted at the factory to provide ventilation if needed. For complex installations, curved trims and column rings can be factory formed to match the SC profile.

Type

Metal ceiling perimeter trim

Note: These trims are designed specifically to support the weight of their intended infill ceiling tiles but are not engineered for additional loads such as lighting or HVAC units. Independent support should be provided for such fixtures. For best results, perimeter trims should be fixed over a layer of wallboard and not directly onto structural framing. Applying silicone mastic between the trim and wall can improve sound insulation and finish appearance.
