Details

The QIC R50 Drylining Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for professional dry lining applications. Its clean white finish (RAL 9010) and precise shape make it ideal for contractors and site managers who require reliable reveal and edge detailing around dry lining installations. Supplied in 3000mm lengths, this trim offers the versatility and durability needed on serious projects. Please note, trims are supplied standard in white; alternative finishes are available on request.

Application

This trim is commonly used to create neat horizontal or vertical reveals where dry lining abuts architectural features such as suspended ceilings, door and window frames, and floor skirtings. It can accommodate slight factory curving both on plan and in section, subject to bending limits. The QIC R50 is designed for use with metal or timber stud frameworks, suitable for single or multiple layers of plasterboard, enhancing the visual finish without contributing structural support. It is essential to fix trims onto plasterboard, never directly to framing, ensuring a clean and professional finish.
