Details

The QIC R40 Drylining Trim in RAL 9010 white is a specialist aluminium trim designed for professional dry lining applications. Perfect for builders, contractors, and site managers, it provides a neat, durable reveal where plasterboard meets ceilings, door or window frames, skirting, and other architectural features. Please note that images are for illustration only and trims are supplied as standard in white.

Application

This trim is used to create clean horizontal and vertical reveal details on dry lined surfaces, enhancing the finish around suspended ceilings, door and window frames, and floor skirtings. It is compatible with metal stud, timber, or other framing systems and supports both single and multiple layers of plasterboard. The QIC R40 can be bent on site or factory curved within certain limits to suit complex reveals, making it a flexible choice for a range of dry lining projects.

Type

Drylining trim for reveals and finishing

The QIC R40 trim is pre-punched with diagonal fixing slots and holes in the plastering fin to allow fast and secure attachment using drywall screws. It should always be fixed over a plasterboard backing and supported by a suitable structural framework, never directly to framing. Non-standard lengths, factory curving, and alternative finishes are available on request. For custom reveals between 1mm and 99mm, please contact us.
