Powder-coated white finish (RAL 9010, 20% gloss) for a clean, durable appearance on plasterboard ceilings.
Extruded from architectural grade aluminium alloy to BS 1474, ensuring strength and longevity.
Designed for use with 12.5mm plasterboard ceilings, supporting metal, mineral fibre, GRG, plasterboard or rigid mineral wool infill tiles.

Details

The QIC P04 Ceiling Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for trade professionals requiring a sharp, reliable edging solution for plasterboard ceilings. Supplied in 3000mm lengths with a clean white powder-coated finish (RAL 9010), it offers both aesthetic appeal and structural reliability for suspended ceiling systems. Please note, trims are supplied standard in white; alternative finishes are available on request.

Application

Ideal for contractors and site managers installing suspended ceilings, the P04 trim provides a crisp perimeter edge for 12.5mm plasterboard installations. It supports a variety of ceiling infill tiles including metal, mineral fibre, GRG, plasterboard, and rigid mineral wool. The trim ensures a professional finish while maintaining structural integrity. For enhanced sound insulation and appearance, a bead of silicone mastic can be applied between the trim and adjacent walls. Trims should be fixed to wall boarding rather than directly to structural framing.
