QIC GL5 Dry Lining Trim RAL9010 100x3000mm (White)

The QIC GL5 dry lining trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed to provide a crisp, professional finish to plasterboard wall edges. Tailored for builders, contractors, and site managers working on plasterboard partitions or ceiling systems, this trim ensures a neat, durable edge in both commercial and residential settings. All trims are supplied in white polyester powder coating to RAL9010 as standard, with alternative finishes available on request.

Application

This trim is primarily used to cap the edges of plasterboard walls, creating clean and visually appealing terminations. It is suitable for installation on metal stud or timber frameworks, supporting single or multiple plasterboard layers. The profile is ideal for dry lining partitions, ceilings, and other drywall applications where a precise finish is required. Note that the trim is a finishing component and does not contribute to the structural integrity of the wall system.

The QIC GL5 trim comes pre-punched with diagonal fixing slots and holes designed for drywall screws, simplifying installation. For bespoke projects, non-standard lengths, factory curving, and alternative finishes can be arranged. Please be aware that trims must always be fixed onto plasterboard, not directly to the structural frame, to maintain proper finish and performance.
