The QIC E19 Drylining Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for builders, contractors, and site managers requiring clean, precise edges on plasterboard installations. Supplied in a white RAL 9010 powder-coated finish, this 3000mm trim offers a reliable and professional solution for both wall and ceiling drylining projects. Please note, all trims are supplied in white as standard; alternative finishes can be requested but may affect pricing.

Application

This trim is ideal for creating sharp vertical or horizontal edges at the ends of plasterboard runs or where recessed or raised features are specified. It is suitable for use in conventional drywall, partition, or ceiling systems incorporating single or multiple plasterboard layers. The trim must always be fixed over plasterboard backing rather than directly to structural framing and is compatible with metal stud, timber, or other framing types, provided structural spacing guidelines are followed.

Type

QIC trims are pre-punched with diagonal fixing slots and holes in the plastering fin for straightforward installation using drywall screws. Non-standard lengths, factory curving, and alternative finishes are available on request. Trims with custom dimensions between 3mm and 100mm can also be supplied to meet specific design requirements. Please ensure all trim installations are supported by appropriate structural framing to maintain system integrity.
