Details

The QIC CH03 Drylining Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for trade professionals working with metal ceiling tile systems. Finished in white polyester powder coating to RAL 9010, this 3000mm trim provides a sharp, professional edge where ceiling tiles meet walls, partitions or upstands. Its robust design and technical specification make it an excellent choice for contractors and site managers seeking reliable, high-quality perimeter trims.

Application

Primarily used to create clean, crisp perimeter details on suspended ceiling systems, the QIC CH03 trim accepts standard hold down wedges and clips to securely retain cut ceiling tiles. It is compatible with a wide range of tile materials including metal, mineral fibre, plasterboard, GRG, and rigidised mineral wool. The trim can be factory curved to suit concave or convex walls and formed into column rings, providing flexibility on-site for complex architectural features. For enhanced finish and sound insulation, a silicone mastic bead can be applied between the trim and wall. Note that trims should always be fixed backed by wall boarding and never directly to the building’s structural frame.
