The QIC CH02 Ceiling Trim in RAL 9010 white is a specialist perimeter trim designed for use with metal ceiling tile systems. Ideal for builders, contractors, and site managers working on suspended ceiling installations, it ensures a clean, professional finish where cut tiles meet walls or partitions. Please note, trims are supplied in 3000mm lengths and finished in white polyester powder coating as standard.

Application

This ceiling trim is specifically engineered to create sharp perimeter details around suspended metal ceiling tile systems. It accepts standard hold down wedges and clips, securing cut tiles neatly in place. Its channel design is compatible with a variety of infill materials including metal, mineral fibre, plasterboard, GRG, and rigidised mineral wool tiles. The trim can be factory curved to fit concave or convex walls and formed into column rings, offering flexibility for complex ceiling layouts.

Type

Ceiling perimeter trim for metal tile systems

For best results, perimeter trims should be backed by wall boarding and never fixed directly to structural framing. A bead of silicone mastic may be applied between the trim and wall to enhance aesthetics and sound insulation. Additional accessories such as wedgelock cleats for joints and corners are available separately. Non-standard lengths, factory curving, and alternative finishes can be ordered to suit specific project needs.
