Application

This trim is typically used to create neat edges around suspended ceilings, ensuring a professional finish where ceiling tiles abut walls or upstands. It is compatible with various ceiling tile types including mineral fibre, glass reinforced gypsum (g.r.g.), plasterboard, and rigidised mineral wool. The AG11 trim can be curved on request to accommodate concave or convex wall shapes and is also suitable for forming column rings. For added aesthetic and acoustic performance, a bead of silicone mastic may be applied between the trim and wall. Note that trims should always be fixed to wall boarding rather than directly onto structural framing.
