Manufactured from architectural grade aluminium with durable white RAL 9010 polyester powder coat finish.
Supports ceiling infill loads with a safety margin; not designed for additional imposed loads like lighting or HVAC units.
Trims sold in 3000mm lengths; factory curving and custom finishes available on request.

Details

The QIC AG06 ceiling trim is a specialist perimeter trim designed for trade professionals installing suspended ceiling systems. Finished in white RAL 9010, this aluminium trim provides a crisp, neat edge where ceiling tiles meet walls or partitions. It’s a reliable choice for contractors and site managers who require durability and a clean finish on projects involving mineral fibre, metal, G.R.G., or plasterboard ceiling tiles. Please note, trims are supplied in 3000mm lengths and images are for illustration purposes only.

Application

AG06 trims are used to create sharp, professional perimeter details on suspended ceilings. They accommodate a variety of ceiling tile types including mineral fibre, metal, G.R.G. plasterboard, and rigid mineral wool. The trims can be factory curved to fit concave or convex wall profiles, and can also be formed into column rings for architectural features. They should be backed with wall boarding and never fixed directly to structural framing. For enhanced aesthetics and sound insulation, a bead of silicone mastic may be applied between the trim and the wall. Note that these trims only support the weight of the infill tiles and additional loads such as lighting or HVAC fixtures require independent support.
