Made from architectural grade aluminium alloy with durable white RAL 9010 polyester powder coat.
Supports ceiling tiles structurally but requires separate support for additional loads like lighting or HVAC.
Note: Supplied as standard in white; alternative finishes and factory curving available on request.

The QIC AG05 ceiling trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for trade professionals working on suspended ceilings. Finished in white RAL 9010, it provides a sharp, clean edge where ceiling tiles meet walls or partitions, ensuring a high-quality finish on site. Please note the trim is supplied in standard white; other finishes can be arranged on request.

Application

This trim is engineered specifically for suspended ceiling systems incorporating mineral fibre, g.r.g., plasterboard or metal ceiling tiles. It creates a neat perimeter detail and can be curved in the factory to fit concave or convex walls, as well as formed into column rings. It’s an essential component for contractors and site managers aiming for professional, durable ceiling installations.

Type

Ceiling trim profile for suspended ceilings

While the AG05 trim supports the ceiling tiles structurally, it is not designed to carry additional loads such as lighting or air conditioning units; these require independent support. For improved aesthetics and sound insulation, a bead of silicone mastic can be applied where the trim meets the wall. Always install perimeter trims backed by wall boarding and avoid fixing directly to structural framing.
