Details

The QIC AG04 Ceiling Trim is a specialist aluminium profile designed for professional use in suspended ceiling systems. Finished in white RAL 9010 powder coating, it provides a crisp, clean edge where ceiling tiles meet walls or partitions. This trim is ideal for builders, contractors and site managers looking for a reliable perimeter solution that blends seamlessly with mineral fibre, plasterboard, metal or GRG ceiling tiles. Please note, trims are supplied in 3000mm lengths and images are for illustration purposes only.

Application

This trim is typically used to create neat perimeter details in suspended ceilings, especially where mineral fibre, GRG plasterboard or full module metal ceiling systems abut walls, partitions or upstands. It can also be factory curved to fit concave or convex walls and formed into column rings, offering flexibility for complex ceiling designs. The AG04 trim is engineered to carry the weight of the infill tiles it supports but should not be relied upon to bear additional loads such as lighting or air conditioning units without separate support.

Type

Ceiling perimeter trim profile

For enhanced finish and sound insulation, a bead of silicone mastic can be applied between the trim and the wall. The trim should always be fixed to a backing layer such as wall boarding rather than directly to structural framing. Non-standard lengths, factory curving and alternative finishes are available on request. Wedgelock cleats and corner pieces for jointing are sold separately.
